Director of Save Frankincense & Ecological Expert
Dr. Anjanette DeCarlo is a world-renowned ecologist specializing in supply chain analysis of aromatic species. She holds a doctorate in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Vermont and currently directs the Save Frankincense initiative.
Her work has taken her to post-conflict zones and fragile ecosystems across Somaliland, Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and Peru. Previously, she served as Program Director of the Gund Institute for Ecological Economics and worked with the UN UNSO Office.

Anjanette serves on the Board of Directors for the Somaliland Biodiversity Foundation and the National Parks Conservation Association, bridging the gap between field research and global conservation policy.
